Character Interview with Jon Riche' from The Jordan James P.I. Series

Today Carly welcomes Jon Riche', a character in the Jordan James P.I. series by: Rachel Sharpe. Thank you for joining us Jon.

The pleasure is all mine, Carly.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Well, I was born and raised in Glocester, Rhode Island (boring town. Don’t waste the airfare) by my dad. I have two overachieving older brothers, Ted and Harvey, who both work for my dad’s company as financial planners (there’s a reason I moved to Boston).
I’m a Leo, which tells you more than you need to know about my personality. I tried college for a while, but it wasn’t my thing. I’ve learned more outside of the classroom than I ever did inside one.
I’m an actor who also happens to work with Jordan James, PI, the most successful private investigator in Boston. I’m the main reason for her success, but sometimes Jordan forgets that so I have to remind her.
How would you describe yourself?
In a word? Amazing. I am constantly amazed by myself. I’m smart, funny, charming, handsome and clever. And famous. You probably recognize me from my most recent guest starring roles in Breakdown Lane and Brooklyn Times.
I just shot the pilot for a new drama being shopped to Netflix. It’s about a family of cops in Boston. I play the middle son, Joey. Great story. Can’t wait to see it. I’m in SAG, by the way. I’m also pretty big on Instagram and Twitter. I’ve got over twenty-five hundred followers now (sorry; I don’t follow followers).
Who is your hero?
Besides myself? I guess I would have to say my mom. She was an amazing, strong woman. She was compassionate, funny and always thinking about others. She loved life. She could drive me insane sometimes  but she always brought out the best in me. Don’t tell her I said this, but I guess Jordan is kind of like that, too. Maybe that’s why we work so well together.
What would you say is your biggest accomplishment in life?
Besides acting? Helping Jordan achieve her dreams as a PI. Before I came along, she didn’t think she could make it. She was scared to try. I convinced her to believe in herself and she’s never looked back.  I never would have imagined how much my life could change after she ran out in front of my bike. Acting is my passion, but working with Jordan is real. And it’s a wild ride. I always look forward to our next case.
Tell us about your favorite case with Jordan James.
Wow. That’s a tough one. We’ve had so many and they’ve all been interesting in their own right, but I guess the one that resonated the most with me was when we solved that murder in Colorado. The idea that anyone would want to shoot an actor is beyond me.
What would you say is your greatest strength?
There are so many, it’s hard to pinpoint just one. If I had to choose, I guess I would go with my ability to think outside the box. It’s one of the main reasons I’m so successful in both my fields.
What would you say is your greatest weakness?
I can’t think of any off hand. I’m pretty amazing.
What haunts you?
Next question.
What are your thoughts on the current political climate in America right now?
I have way too much going on in my own life to be worried about that.
Anything you would like to add?
Follow me on Instagram and Twitter and if you’re ever in need of a private eye, give us a call. We’re the best. Seriously.
Jon, you are a fascinating character and I'm happy you spent some time with us on Carly's View. Shall I introduce the books you co-star in with Jordan?
Yes Carly. I think that would be fabulous.
