Review of A TIME FOR LOVE IN PARIS by: Kim Hotzon

Recently, I was given an ARC copy of Kim Hotzon's newest book, A TIME FOR LOVE IN PARIS. This is a time travel romance that is set in the art world. I didn't know much about art when I started reading this book, but that really didn't matter. Kim's story pulls you in and is easy to follow regardless of your background. This book is also a time travel. The main character travels between 2015, 1975, and 1895. I thought I would become lost with all the tripping through time, but found once again, that Kim's talented writing not only keeps the reader riveted but, also keeps you grounded in the era. The book was an easy read. It had quite a few surprises and a love story that endures through time. If you are a fan of time travel, art, romance, and history then this is the book for you.

Kim Hotzon was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a young adult, she landed in Tokyo, Japan, where she began a two year adventure teaching English. Kim's passion for the field of education was born and she subsequently spent over twenty years teaching adults with learning disabilities at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

In October of 2012, Kim embarked on a humanitarian trip to Rwanda, Africa, fulfilling a lifelong dream. While in Rwanda, Kim visited the famed mountain gorillas and the culture of Rwanda left a lasting impact. On her return to Canada, she began her first contemporary romance novel, Hands Full of Ashes. The book was published with Soul Mate Publishing in January 2015 and was nominated for the TRR 2015 Readers' Choice Awards and the 2016 RONE Awards. Kim has also published a short story, The Snow Bird, part of an anthology Sizzle In The Snow: A Soul Mate Christmas Collection (published by Soul Mate Publishing). Her latest romance novel, A Time For Love In Paris, was published with Soul Mate Publishing and released on June 8, 2016.

Kim resides in British Columbia with her husband and two children where she continues to write. Kim is a member of the Canadian Authors Association and Romance Writers of America.
